Puri: June 27: Today at the Gundicha Temple, Sandhya Darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra began at seven in the morning. This is Lord Jagannath and his siblings’ final appearance at the Adapa Mandapa, also known as Sandhya Darshan.
However, Sandhya Darshan will close this time at 5 o’clock. Servitors will then put the finishing touches on the ritual preparations for tomorrow’s Bahuda Yatra.
The administration has made extensive preparations to make sandhya darshan peaceful because they anticipate a large influx of devotees. After Mangala Alati was finished, devotees immediately began the darshan of the deities. At Adapa Mandap, extensive security preparations have been made for Sandhya Darshan.
Lord Jagannath, his brother Lord Balabhadra, and their sister Goddess Subhadra will go back to their original home in Puri on Wednesday. This is called the “Bahuda Yatra,”.
