Cuttack, April: Following a meeting with the hospital authorities, the irate Junior doctors of the SCB Medical College and Hospital have called of the protest and have resumed work from 5 pm today.
As of official sources, the authorities have agreed to all of their demands. While the authorities added, a meeting on every fourth Thursday of the month will be held, where discussions regarding the issues of doctors will be undertaken and accordingly steps will be taken to resolve them. Along with, three platoon of police force will be deployed in the campus for the security of the doctors, said sources.
Notably, the doctors of SCB were on a cease work protest since Tuesday, after a kin of a patient allegedly attacked on a doctor in the premises.
Leading to the protest, many patients at the centre faced problem.
