Bhubaneswar, Apr 3: The School and Mass Education Department has ordered a change in timing of all government and private schools across Odisha from today to protect children from the scorching heat. The Directorate had issued a notice to all Government and private schools in the state to reschedule and limit their timings to 11:00 am. The schools will follow the new timings from today and will not continue after 11:00 am. The Directorate has also advised the school authorities to make proper arrangement of drinking water within the campus premises and ensure that all precautionary measures are being taken to protect children from getting heat strokes.
