Dhamnagar, May 1: The curfew at Dhamnagar in Bhadrak has been extended again for 24 hours by the district administration (DA). Sec 144 has been imposed in the are since morning 10 am, while sufficient police force has also been deployed in the area. Though the situation at Dhamnagar has developed, but the DA has imposed the order in the view of any untoward incident.
However, many civil society groups in the town have extended their helping hand to the DA and duo are working together to restore peace in the area.
Notably, the Dhamnagar clash took place after five houses in the Dhamnagar market area were gutted to fire on Friday.
