Bhubaneswar, Nov 25: The ruling BJD government has failed to provide basic requirements to the people of the state, this statement was given by Amit Shah, National President of BJP at ‘Jana Jagaran Maha Samabesh’ on Friday in capital city.
Pointing a finger at the ruling government, Shah said that even though some states have started developing , it has been 17 years of Naveen Patnaik’s government but Odisha has still not developed to that level and asked about the things that has been done by the BJD in that 17 years. Exampling Dana Majhi incident, he stated about the BJD government’s failure in providing the basic needs. Shah also alleged that, Rs 1.30 lakh crore that was provided by the Centre’s NDA government to Odisha is yet to reach to the common people.
About the ongoing criticism of Modi government for his decision on demonetisation, Shah said that the Lustre of the leaders of Oppositions has vanished after Modi’s bold step.
