Bhubaneswar: August 27: The main gate (Singhadwara) of Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar will be reconstructed and covered with Silver as it has been done to the main doors of Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri.

After conducting a ground survey with ASI Superintendent Arun Mallick and officials, Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Sanjay Singh informed regarding Silver Plating of Singhadwara of Lord Lingaraj Temple.
The team of officials visited the 11th century shrine and also other temples on the periphery of the Lingaraj temple today.
The team also discussed the conservation and restoration of Lingaraj Temple & others.
Commissioner BMC said, ‘A detailed plan on the conservation and restoration works of the Lingaraj Temple will be done and accordingly, it will be executed’.
