Berhampur: July 11: Panic spread over the passengers of the Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Vivek Express after smoke was discovered in the train near Brahmapur Railway Station.
Before the Berhampur Railway Station, smoke was seen coming from the bottom of a coach. Passengers pulled the chain, causing the train to come to a halt. Some passengers stepped off the train.

Meanwhile, a railway official stated that there was no fire mishap. The smoke was not caused by a fire. The smoke was caused by a sack becoming stuck in a train wheel. After the inspection, the train resumed its journey.
