Dhenkanal, Dec 6: In a shocking incident, a person identified as Prakash Behera killed his father beating with a crowbar for not giving him money to drink liquor on Monday here.
It’s stated that the accused had asked his mother for money yesterday morning while she was busy in agricultural work. He chased her to thrash when she refused to give money following which she barged into a neighbourer’s house in fear. At the same time his father, Bidyadhar Behera, reached at the scene and was asked for money which ultimately led to a tussle between the two. The accused lost his cool and hit his father with a crowbar and Bidyadhar died at the spot.
Notably, Prakash used to create trouble in family after boozing and had sent his wife to his father-in-law’s house beating her black and blue on Sunday.
