Stringent action against corrupt officials in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: September 14: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday dismissed 16 officials from their posts over involvement in corruption.

The dismissed officials include five head masters, four engineers,two revenue inspectors, two clerks, one pharmacist, one Amin and a panchayat executive officer, said a release from Chief Minister’s Office.

All of them were held guilty of corruption by Vigilance court.

During last month, Odisha Government has dismissed 37 government employees for corruption charges.
