BHUBANESWAR, OCT 3: Globally-acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattanaik made a spectacular sand sculpture depicting the face of Mahatma Gandhi, and other symbols of peace on International Non-Violence Day at Victoria on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, in Seychelles.
President of Seychelles James Alex Michel visited the sand sculpture created by Sudarsan and highly appreciated his creativity.
Pattnaik also presented his sand art book to the Seychelles President.
Pattnaik along with two of his students JK Jagadev and Bulu Mohanty took two days to complete the sculpture.
Indian High Commissioner to Seychelles Sanjay Panda, members of the Seychelles-India Day Organising Committee, naval officers from visiting Indian vessels as well as a large number of Indians living and working there were among those who visited the sculpture.
