Bhubaneswar, Nov 24: The Council minister meeting of the State government chaired Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has given its approval to the supplementary budget, 2016-17. The demands of various departments and the approved funds and its grant were discussed in the meeting.
As per the information, the 2016-17 supplementary budget size is Rs 5,983.08 crore. Among the total size for State plan expenditure, Rs 5126.04 crore and in non-plan expenditures Rs 795.98 crore have been approved.
The budget will be present on the first day of the Odisha winter session assembly on December 1.
