Bhubaneswar: The intensity of the summer heat is likely to increase over the coming days. The IMD predicted that from March 9 onwards temperature will increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
The Westerlies will flow in the North western direction and as a result the movement of cold waves will decrease in the state. The mercury will soar high and Odisha will witness scorching heat. The temperature has now dipped by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius and the coastal areas by 2 degrees.
The lowest temperature recorded remained at 15 degrees Celsius in parts of Odisha. There will be no change in the temperature today. However in the coming days from March 9 onwards temperature will increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
