Kendrapara, March 17: The Police Wednesday arrested three persons including a woman on charges of trafficking a minor Dalit girl from Patkura area of Kendrapara district and later forcing her into flesh trade in Bhubaneswar, by luring the victim with a job offer.
The accused persons were identified as Sanjaya Hati (45), Gurucharana Mallick (50) and Jhilirani Mallick(28), all natives of Tarada village under Patkura police station.
They were arrested today by a special squad of the police following an FIR lodged by the victim.
According to the complaint, the victim was taken to Bhubaneswar on January 10 and confined in a private guest house in Kalinganagar locality under Khandagiri police station jurisdiction.
The trio later forced her into flesh trade, the girl alleged adding she managed to escape and reached her village on March 14.
After reaching the village, the victim filed an FIR in,Patkura police station, said Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Kendrapara, Purnachandra Pradhan.
