Athagarh, Oct 10: Health service at the Athagarh community health center (CHC) was hampered as physicians of the CHC held a cease work stir on Monday.
The strike was held as two youths allegedly attacked a doctor named Chandan Gadnayak.
As per the information, two youths entered in the hospital and asked Gadnayak to open the emergency room stating that a patient was on the way to CHC. The duo also asked about the hospital staff. When Gadnayak told them the staff will come after the patient arrives, the youths got aggressive and thrashed him and later fled from the spot.
Demanding the arrest of the duo, the agitating doctors said that the strike will continue till the arrest of two youths.
Meanwhile, investigation has been initiated by the police.
