Olatpur (Cuttack), March 15: A host of facilities were inaugurated by Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Thawar Chand Gehlot at National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research situated at Olatpur under Kantapada block in Cuttack district on Sunday.
The facilities include dormitory for attendants of patients, operation theatre and laboratory.
Speaking on the occasion, Gehlot assured to fill up 23 vacant post in the institute.
“During the last two years, an amount of Rs 46 crore has been sanctioned for the institution. Beds for patients have increased from 100 to 200”, he stated, adding the Centre will soon release funds for purchase of essential equipment for the institute.
