Bhubaneswar, Sept 25: Today the last rituals of the deceased Pitabas Majhi will be carried out at his native place, Danajhala village under the Komana Police station with state honour.
It’s stated that the mortal remains of Majhi will be brought to Danajhala in a special vehicle after it is flown to the Bhubaneswar airport from Raipur. Majhi took his last breath while he was being treated at a hospital after he was injured during the combing operation following the Uri attack.
Notably, Pitabas Majhi was a BSF jawan belonging to the Danajhala village of Nuapada. He had been killed on Sept 18 during a combing operation following a terrorist attack on an army camp in Uri of Jammu and Kashmir.
