Vaccination survey seems to fail; one more dies from JE, toll reaches to 117

Malkangiri, Nov 23: Besides various preventive steps and vaccination been taken by the State government, the death toll of Japanese Encephalitis has not been stopping. Gaining the death toll to 117, JE took one more life in Malkangiri on Wednesday in which a child named Damiel Padiami (4) belonging to Bataniguda village under Padia block died today at the district headquarters hospital.

As per sources, stated to be in a critical condition, three more children are being treated at the ICU. Besides that, in the general ward, around 15 patients have been admitted after being affected from Japanese Encephalitis.
