Cuttack, Dec 23: The most awaited air show to mark the birth centenary of former Chief Minister of Odisha, Biju Patnaik was held on Friday here. The daredevil stunts performed by the Sarang, Surya Kiran AT and Akash Ganga paratrooper teams of Indian Air force at the Kathajodi river bed awed hundreds of viewers.
The show started with the Sarang team who performed stunts with six helicopters, followed by the Surya Kiran AT who showed their stunts with ten fighter jets. The air show ended with the Akash Ganga paratroopers performing their spellbound stunts. The stunts were showcased by 100 pilots, 10 IAF officials of Surya Kiran Aerobatics, Saranga Aerobatics and Akash Ganga Aerobatics teams of IAF. For the stunts 10 fighter aircrafts and 6 helicopters were used.
AlongWith Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha Governor SC Jamir and other dignitaries also attended the event.
