Bhubaneswar, March 18: Wadhwani Foundation has extended support for industrial development of the State.
A four-member team led by the organisation chief Ajay Kela focused on job creation and filling of vacant posts at a meeting chaired by Skill Development and Technical Education Principal Secretary Laxminarayan Gupta here on Thursday.
“The State needs to work in the field like Make in India, Start Up India, Digital India, Skill India for making Smart Odisha”, Wadhwani Foundation members suggested in the meeting.
They stated that youths from Odisha are not able to compete with other states in terms of placements in international firms. “If Odisha starts working in the primary field for job creation and employment, it can achieve success like Karnataka, which tops in the sector of Bio-technology and IT”, Kela stated.
Gupta said the plan to ensure employability of Odisha youths can be successful with the combined efforts of the departments including School and Mass Education, MS.
