Bhubaneswar, Oct 26: Carrying 35 kg ganja in three air bags, a young woman and a youth, has been nabbed by the Twin city Commissionerate Police at the Pandra Chhak near Puri bypass road on Tuesday. As per the information, the two accused named Prasant Sahu and Neha Haldar has been arrested by the Mancheswar Police. Post the arrest, the police has registered a case against them under the NDPS Act case vide no- 302.
It may be noted that, in December 2015, Commissionerate Police had arrested Neha for cheating on an individual. Sahoo has also a criminal record on charges of rape and dacoits and apart from this another case had also been registered against him for murdering his wife. However, Neha confounded her involvement in Marijuana Smuggling Racket
