Rourkela, Oct 15: After consuming medicine given by a quack identified as SK Biswal, a child died at Gopabandhupalli in Rourkela today.
As per reports, as the child was suffering from fever, he was taken to the quack for treatment who gave him medicine to cure the fever.
However, as the child’s condition did not show any improvement, he was taken to a hospital where the doctors declared him brought in dead. The doctors said that the child died due to the wrong treatment by the quack.
Irate over the incident, locals ransacked the clinic belonging to the quack at Gopabandhupalli. The police reached the spot after receiving the information and took the situation under control.
