Athagarh, Nov 21: On Sunday morning a worker, identified as Jitendra Nayak of Bailo village, fell into the furnace of Aarti steel. Soon he was rushed to SCB Medical, Cuttack where he was declared dead on arrival, said sources.
The local people and the workers have staged a dharna infront of the plant demanding compensation to the family of the dead.
