Bhubaneswar, Aug 29: The Dengue scare has crossed the threshold of the capital city of the state and swallowed seven persons belonging to the Salia Sahi slum here. These seven have been tested dengue positive. Although officially the death toll is up to seven here, unofficial sources claim that the death toll is in double digits.
Due to the tremendous increase in the dengue cases in the last couple of days, the administration has woke up from a deep slumber and initiated the required steps in order to limit the dengue cases. Along with awareness drives, 10 mobile health teams and ward offices have been set up and kept alert in the affected area and blood samples are being sent for testing on a regular basis.
