BHUBANESWAR, SEPT 24:The Odisha government has formed a 16-member panel under the chairmanship of All Odisha Eunuch Association president Pratap Kumar Sahoo to ensure welfare of the transgender community in the state.
The committee has been asked to suggest four transgender persons from each district for formation of the District TG Certification Committee and four transgenders for State TG Certification Committee by end of October, a government order said.
The Social Security and Empowerment department will discuss all matters relating to the transgenders with the State Level Representative Committee from time to time.
