Odisha reports 170 Covid-19 New Cases; No cases in10 Districts

Bhubaneswar: September 14: Odisha reported highest ever single day spike of 4,198 fresh COVID-19 Cases in last 24 hours. With this, total cases in the State increased to 1,55,005.

As per the information provided in Health & Family Welfare Department’s Web Site, out of 4,198 cases, 2,476 people were in quarantine & 1,722 are local contact cases.

Khurda District registered highest cases (758), followed by Cuttack 367 cases, Puri 310 cases, Bolangir 197 cases, Sundergarh 195 cases, Jajpur 156 cases, Kendrapara 143 cases, Rayagada 136 cases, Mayurbhanj 133 cases, Balasore & Sambalpur 130 cases each, Nuapada 116 cases, Angul 108 cases and State Pool 218 cases.

Also, Koraput recorded 99 cases, Nabarangpur 98 cases, Jagatsinghpur 97 cases, Bargarh & Jharsuguda 95 cases each, Kalahandi 93 cases, Dhenkanal 80 cases, Kandhamal 78 cases, Sonepur 74 cases, Keonjhar 63 cases, Bhadrak 53 cases, Gajapati 44 cases, Nayagarh 43 cases, Deogarh 34 cases, Malkangiri 22 cases, Boudh 19 cases and Gajapati 14 cases.

As per the information of H & FW Department, 11 patients died due to COVID-19 in last 24 hours and total death toll rose to 637.

Also, it is informed, 1,18,642 patients have recovered from the disease so far.

At present, 35,673 patients are under treatment.
