Monsoon Session of Odisha Assembly will be started from Wednesday. Security has been tightened by Odisha Police.
As always, a three-tiered security measure has been put in place to protect the legislature. Five control rooms have been set up for this purpose. A total of 30 platoon forces and 120 officers are engaged for Security of the Assembly.
The Striking Force, QAT team, will be deployed to deal with possible untoward incidents, informed Police Commissioner Saumyendra Kumar Priyadarsi .
CCTV surveillance is provided along with security.
Odisha DGP Abhay reviewed the security arrangements at the Assembly premises on Tuesday.
