Odisha Crime Branch conducted the lie detection test of the deceased officer Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra’s wife Bidya Bharati Panda on Monday at the State Forensic Science Laboratory in Bhubaneswar.
It is believed, the forensic team may have asked questions to Bidya Bharati, related to the circumstances under which Assistant Conservator of Forests died. Also, Crime Branch may have asked questions about her relationship with Mohapatra, marriage agreement, her acquaintance with DFO Sangram Keshari Behera and all.
Just 2 days’ before Crime Branch had conducted lie detection test of DFO Behera and the cook at the ACF’s quarters Manmath Kumbha.
Notably, Paralakhemundi ACF Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra had sustained serious burn injuries at his official quarters on July 11 and died at a private hospital in Cuttack.
