Covid-19: Odisha’s Daily Positivity Rate Stands At 5.44 %
Odisha reported 3629 fresh covid cases today, pushing State’s total (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 12,59,405, informed Odisha H & FW Department.
Of 3629 new cases, 2115 were in quarantine and rest 1514 are local contact cases. Also, as reported, 515 of new cases are in the age group of 0-18.
Khurda District reported 716 new cases, followed by Sundergarh 346 cases and Cuttack 329 cases.

Almost 20 districts of the state reported below 100 cases in a day.
6067 patients recovered from the disease in 24 hours and with this, total recoveries reached 12,15,380.
Current Active caseload remains at 35,306.
18 people succumbed to the disease and total death toll rose to 8666.
66,702 tests have been conducted in 24 hours and out of that, 3629 came out as positive. Daily Positivity Rate stands at 5.44 percent.
