Bhubaneswar, Oct 10: A decision to build a commercial complex outside the terminal of Biju Patnaik International Airport has been taken by the Airport Authority of India at a high level meeting where officials of the State government were also present.
As per the decision of the Authority, the complex will be made in a Public-private partnership (PPP) mode.
Facilities like hotels, restaurants, shopping complex, coffee shops etc will be available for the flyers at the commercial complex that is estimated to be built in an area of 1.5 acre land. Besides, some 3D game shows for the children will also be available at the complex.
During delays of flights, the passengers will be able to avail the enjoyment of shopping at the soon to be built commercial complex.
