Bhubaneswar: February 3: Active Coronavirus cases in Odisha has come down to below 1000-mark for the first time since July 2 last year. At present, Odisha has 946 active cases.
Today, Odisha reported 71 cases and out of that, 42 are quarantine cases and rest 29 are local contact cases. Sundergarh District recorded 11 new Corona Positive cases, followed by Khurda 7 cases, Cuttack,Balasore, Bargarh, Puri & Sambalpur 6 cases each, Nuapada 5 cases, Jajpur & Kalahandi 3 cases each, Angul, Balangir & Keonjhar 2 cases each, Boudh, Dhenkanal,, Jharsuguda, Kendrapara & Rayagada 1 case each and State Pool recorded one case only.
As the data shows, 18 Odisha districts recorded cases in single digits.
No death has been reported in the state for the past one week. Till date, 1,906 patients have succumbed to Covid-19 in Odisha.
With this, total cases in Odisha increased to 3,35,282 and 3,32,377 people have already recovered from the disease.
