Anandpur, Jan 30: Last night at a shop at Khalana under Ramachandrapur police station here in Keonjhar, a cement and iron rod businessman, Sushant Sahoo was found murdered. The murder is suspected to have been committed over some past enmity. As a result, fellow shop keepers and local residents blocked the NH 215 at Khalana square, burning tyres, thus demanding the immediate arrest of the accused and also provide adequate compensation to the deceased’s family. Due to this demonstration and road block, transportation between Keonjhar and Panikoili was halted.
On getting information, along with the forensic experts from Keonjhar and the dog squad from Jajpur, the cops have started investigation and Sahoo’s mobile phone is also being traced, said sources.
