Bhubaneswar, May 27: Upon completion of BJP’s 3 years in office, the ruling BJD’s newly elected MP Pratap Deb today accused the national party for their inefficiency and also demanded them for a report card of the developments they have done in Odisha and India.

Addressing a press conference here, Deb questioned the Modi led government, the reasons for failing to keep up the promises made by the party in its manifesto issued before the 14′ elections.

The party claimed to make Odisha its laboratory for welfare schemes, but no such thing have been seen so far, said Deb.

Pointing out employment issues, Deb said that the central party had claimed to create 2 crore jobs every year. However, three years have passed, and by now 6 crore opportunities must have been generated along with 30 lakh employments alone in Odisha, said Deb sarcastically.

The state had earlier supported the center’s demonetisation drive. It’s time now for the centre to come up with the details of the returned black money, said Deb.

Coming to employment again, Deb pointed Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and questioned him about how many Odia’s have yet got any employment at IOCL and also questioned him about the special category status for Odisha.

The state party also asked centre to share details about the coastal highway project, central assistance and conversion of state highways into national highways in Odisha and non revision of coal royalty.

Closing up, Deb stated that the next time the Union Ministers come to Odisha, they should answer my our 10 questions.
