Bhubaneswar, July 28: Actress Upasana Mohanty lodged a complaint with Laxmisagar police on Wednesday against Odia film producer Rajesh Pati, of Casting Couch, who has accused her of not returning his Rs 21 lakh that she had allegedly taken from him.
Earlier, Upasana had refuted the allegation and said that she had taken Rs 30,000 as advance amount out of Rs 1.5 lakh, as per the agreement that had been signed for the film.
She further added that Pati had threatened her of bewitchment if she does not marry him.
On July 21, a complaint was filed by Pati at the Airfield police station alleging that Upasana remained absent from his under production film midway and has cheated him of Rs 21 lakh.
