Bhubaneswar, May 31: Today the Centre made the announcement to form a committee for celebrating 200 years completion of the Paika Bidroha who is known to be the first freedom struggle of India. The Union Culture Department made this announcement. The committee formed will have Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Senior BJP leader Biswa Bhusan Harichandan and senior writer Hara Prasad Das will also be there. The committee will also be responsible for celebration of other events. The occasion will be celebrated not only in Odisha but everywhere in India.
