Sambalpur, Sept 5: A six-year-old girl child, identified as Bebo Sahani died while her mother Usha Devi Sahani and her brother were critically injured in Baghamunda Biharipada in Hirakud town in Odisha’s Sambalpur district, when a wall of the house in which they were residing collapsed due to low pressure induced heavy rains.
The two critically injured were admitted to VIMSAR in Burla. Hira Sahani, father of Bebo somehow managed to escape unhurt from the spot. An assistance of Rs 14,000 under the Red Cross Fund has been provided to the deceased’s family.
