Delhi Government shall provide financial assistance to the people of Delhi for the installation of the RWH system..

Water Minister and Chairman of Delhi Jal Board (DJB), Satyendra Jain said, Delhi government has decided to provide financial assistance of up to Rs 50,000 and a rebate of 10 per cent on water bill to people who install rooftop rainwater harvesting (RWH) systems.

The move by Delhi Govt. to encourage to conserve water.

Government shall provide financial assistance of 50 per cent of the cost of rooftop rainwater harvesting (RWH) systems (Maximum Rs.50,000) and a rebate of 10 percent on water bill, Minister added.

The financial assistance, starting at Rs 10,000, will vary as per the size of the plots.

The last date for implementing the rainwater harvesting provisions has been extended up to December 31, 2021.
