Bhubaneswar: In a first of its kind, the capital city of Bhubaneswar will be connected with UAE’s capital Abu Dhabi with a direct flight. This flight service will begin from June 12.
After Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok and KualaLampur, now the flights from Bhubaneswar will run to UAE. This flight service will be functional on the 1 year completion date of the current government ruled by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi.
Under the supervision of Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, the New Destination Policy- 2024 (NDP 2024) was prepared which will focus on the tourism and business and innovation in the state of Odisha.
The state will have economic progress following the run of the direct flight from Bhubaneswar to Abu Dhabi. This will also develop the tourism and cultural exchange between the countries.
According to the Biju Patnaik International Airport authorities, one IndiGo flight will run for three days in a week. The flight will run on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays.
