Farm Laws Repeal Bill Passed in Lok Sabha
The Agriculture Laws Repeal Bill 2021 has been passed in the Lok Sabha on the first day of the winter session of Parliament. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar introduced the Agriculture Law Vapi Bill in the Lok Sabha amid sloganeering by opposition MPs.
The bill to cancel farm laws was passed in Lok Sabha within four minutes and the opposition demanded a discussion on this.
The proceedings of the Lok Sabha have been adjourned till 2 pm due to the uproar by the opposition. The government can introduce this bill in the Rajya Sabha today itself.
This session of Parliament will run from November 29 to December 23.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had recently announced the decision to withdraw three agricultural laws and after this the Union Cabinet approved the bill to repeal these three laws.
Apart from this, the government is going to introduce about 30 bills in this entire session, including bills related to cryptocurrency, electricity, pension, financial reforms and banking law.
