Cuttack: February 01: A major fire broke out in Sun Hospital, located at Biju Patnaik Chhak, Cuttack on Monday. More than five fire tenders were pressed into service to tackle the fire and finally, it has been doused without any loss of life or injuries.
11 patients were undergoing treatment in the Hospital and they all have been shifted to SCB Medical College.
The cause of fire is yet to be known. Cuttack District Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani said, ‘The cause of the fire will be investigated’.
Seeing the fire, people from nearby houses rushed out of their respective homes.
