Former minister cum senior BJD leader in trouble in Rourkela, Odisha on charges of distributing money to voters

Rourkela, Feb 15: Last night, acting upon a complaint lodged at the Jharipani PS in Sundergarh on charges of cash for vote against former minister and senior BJD leader, Sarada Prasad Nayak made him land into fresh trouble.

It’s stated that the Rourkela Development Authority chairman, Nayak along with his supporters had been allegedly giving away money to voters at the Jharipani Panchayat under Bisra block. As a result, the locals there gheraoed the minister and his supporters following which the BJD leader went on to have a scuffle with them.

Upon getting information, the cops brought the situation under control and has begun investigation.
