Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani resigned from the Post of Chief Minister on Saturday He tendered his resignation to Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat at his residence, Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar.
Speaking to Reporters, he said, “I am resigning from the post of the Chief Minister. I thank PM Modi and the party for giving me an opportunity to work for five years”.
He said, he shall continue to work for the organization.
Vijay Rupani became the Chief Minister of Gujarat on August 7, 2016.
He is representing Rajkot West in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly.
