Islamabad: The United States has used Pakistan as a rental weapon. In an interview, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan spewed venom against the United States. He said the United States’ fight against terrorism had been “devastating” for Pakistan. During his 20-year presence in Afghanistan, Washington used Islamabad as a “rental gun.”
“We were like rented guns,” the Pakistani prime minister said in an interview. We were expected to help them (the United States) win the war in Afghanistan. Recently, U.S. Secretary of State Ante Blinken said the United States needed to reconsider relations with Pakistan after the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. Pakistan has close ties with the Taliban and other terrorist organizations.
It is alleged that when the United States was fighting against terrorism in Afghanistan Pakistan was helping these terrorists.. There is also a lot of evidence in this regard. In an interview with CNN, the Pakistani Prime Minister denied allegations of providing assistance or protection to terrorists. Imran Khan said the U.S. drone was always monitoring Pakistan and its forces near the Afghan border. If Pakistan had protected the terrorists, they (the United States) would have known. ‘
