New Delhi: Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli will resign as the captain from the T20 form of cricket. King Kohli is set to resign as captain after the T20 World Cup in Dubai in October. That’s what he tweeted. Although he has resigned as captain for the T20 form, he will however, lead India in Test and ODI cricket.

Virat Kohli said he has made the decision after talks with head coach Ravi Shastri and his team, including Rohit Sharma. Kohli added that he had informed BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jai Shah about his decision. Kohli said in a tweet that he was relinquishing his captaincy to manage the task force.

So it remains to be seen who will take over as India’s T20 captain after the World Cup. While Rohit Sharma is leading the race, it will be clear after the World Cup.
