Delhi: July 31: India reported 41,649 new Covid Positive cases in last 24 hours. As per Health Ministry’s data, 37,291 people were cured of the viral infection in last 24 hours and the recovery rate more or less remains steady at 97.37 per cent.
The data says, the recoveries were less than the total number of infections in a day. In total, 3,07,81,263 people have recovered so far.
593 people succumbed to the disease in a day and total death toll increased to 4,23,810 and active cases number constitutes 1.29% of total cases.
Weekly Positivity Rate remains currently at 2.42% and Daily positivity rate at 2.34%.
Kerala continues to report half of the total caseload in the country. A complete lockdown will be in force in Kerala for the next 48 hours.
