Bhubaneswar: October 13: Total COVID-19 Cases in India increased to 71,75,880 on Tuesday with a spike of 55,342 new Corona Positive Cases. This is the lowest single-day spike since August.
Since last few days, India is showing declining trend. 8,38,729 cases are currently active in India.
With 77,760 new recoveries, India’s total number of recovered cases now stand at 62, 27,295. The recovery rate reached 86.78 per cent.
In last 24 hours, 706 patients succumbed to the disease and with this, total death toll due to COVID-19 increased 1,09,856. The fatality rate is 1.53 per cent, as per Health Ministry’s data.
As per Government’s data, India conducted 10,73,014 sample tests in a single day on Monday, taking the total number of samples tested so far to 8,89,45,107.
