Delhi: August 28: After a gap of few days, India’s daily Covid numbers has started growing again. Today, India reported 46,759 new cases. Also, 509 deaths has been registered in last 24 hours. Total death toll in the Country rose to 4,37,370.
31,374 people have recovered from the disease in last 24 hours and total Recoveries (since the beginning of pandemic) reached 3,18,52,802. Recovery rate remains at 97.56 per cent.
India’s Active caseload stands at 3,59,775, which is 1.10% of total cases.
Weekly Positivity Rate is 2.19%, which is less than 3% for last 64 days.
Daily positivity rate 2.66%, which is less than 3% for last 33 days.
Kerala continues to be the worst affected State in the State. It has reported 32,801 cases in the past 24 hours to take the total number of those affected in the state by the viral infection to 38,14,305.
Kerala’s positivity rate currently stands at 19.22 per cent.
