Bhubaneswar: April 06: India registered 96,982 new Corona Positive cases in last 24 hours. Yesterday, the figure was 1,03,558. So, it has not increased, rather decreased today. The total cases in India increased to 1,26,86,049 and out of that, 1,17,32,279 people have recovered from the disease so far.
The active cases number increased further to 7,88,223 which is 6.21 per cent of the total infections. Recovery rate dropped further to 92.48 per cent.
In last 24 hours, country has reported 446 deaths and with this, the death tally reached 1,65,547. The case fatality rate stood at 1.30 per cent.
So far, Maharashtra has 4,52,777 active cases, followed by Chhattisgarh 44,296 cases, Karnataka 42,502 cases, Kerala 28,685 cases, Punjab 25,419 cases and so on.
On April 05, 12,11,612 samples have been tested, informed Indian Council of Medical Research.
