Bhubaneswar: India reported 61,537 new COVID Positive cases and 933 deaths in last 24 hours. With this, total cases in India increased to 20,88,611 and the death toll due to Coronavirus rose to 42,518.
As per Health Ministry’s data, 6,19,088 cases are active in India. In last 24 hours 48,900 COVID Positive Patients have recovered from the disease, taking the total number of recovered cases of the Country to 14,27,005. Accordingly, the recovery rate improved further to 68.32 per cent.
Also,the Case Fatality Rate stands at 2.04% today.
Maharashtra has recorded highest number of cases so far i.e.4,90,262, followed by Tamilnadu (2,85,024), Andhra Pradesh (2,06,960), Karnataka (1,64,924), Delhi (1,42,723), Uttar Pradesh (1,13,378), West Bengal (89,666), Telengana (77,513), Bihar (71,304), Gujarat (68,768), Assam (55,496) and Rajasthan (50,157).
