India reports 34,884 COVID-19 cases in a day

Bhubaneswar: July 18: For third consecutive day, India has registered more than 30,000 cases a day. With 34,884 new COVID-19 cases reported today, India’s Coronavirus tally has gone up to 10,38,716.

As per the Health Ministry’s data, 6,53,751 patients have recovered from the infection and discharged. 3,58,692 cases are active and under medical supervision. Also, 62.94 per cent of patients have recovered so far.

Also, Country has recorded 671 deaths in last 24 hours and the death toll increased to 26,273.

Maharashtra witnessed another another single-day spike of 8,000 cases. On Friday, it has registered 8,308 cases and State’s total reached 2,92,589. Also, with 258 deaths in 24 hours, the death toll rose to 11,452.

Tamilnadu has reported 4,538 cases and 79 deaths on Friday. With this, Tamilnadu has reported 1,60,907 cases so far, including 2315 deaths.

Delhi has 1,20,107 cases so far, including 3,571 deaths.

Besides, Karnataka has 55,115 cases so far, followed by Gujarat (46,430), Uttar Pradesh (45,163), Telengana (42,496), West Bengal (38,011) and Andhra Pradesh (40,646).
