Bhubaneswar: July 18: Odisha has reported 591 fresh COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. Out of that, 50 per cent cases are from Ganjam and Khurda District. Ganjam and Khurda registered 182 & 121 cases respectively in last 24 hours.
Besides, Cuttack has recorded 38 new cases, followed by Bargarh (35), Mayurbhanj (22), Nawarangpur (22), Jagatsinghpur (22), Sambalpur (20), Jajpur (19), Sundergarh (18), Balasore (13), Nayagarh (11), Dhenkanal (9), Bolangir (9), Malkangiri (8), Kendrapara (8), Puri (6), Keonjhar (6), Boudh (5), Jharsuguda (5), Koraput (4), Bhadrak (3), Deogarh (3), Angul (1) and Rayagada (1).
Of 591 cases, 394 people were in Quarantine and rest 197 are local contact cases. Now, total cases in Odisha increased to 16,701.
Also, three COVID-19 patients have died during last 24 hours. Two are from Ganjam District and one from Gajapati District, informed Health & Family Welfare Department. With this, total death toll in the State rose to 86. Ganjam and Gajapati Districts have reported 52 and 3 deaths so far.
